Responsibilities: - Administer and monitor Middleware Software products - Offer consultancy and support (installation, testing, troubleshooting, problem-solving) for internal applications, member in project teams - Create and maintain documentation for procedures related to the administered systems - Evaluates the system's status on a regular basis and if necessary takes corrective measures - Monitor performance problems that may appear in applications Requirements: - Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle or SQL2000 Server) - Knowledge of Windows 2000, XP and UNIX environment OS - Background in network protocols, infrastructure and computer security - Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, WBI, ICS, or WebSphere Portal is a plus - Knowledge of web technologies and distributed environment systems (IBM HTTP Server, Apache , IIS ,Tomcat) is a plus - Good knowledge of the English language
