Titlu Job: Java Testing Specialist
Premises:
Excellent chance to progress your testing career with a market leading software supplier. The right candidate will grow within this position to become a highly experienced Software Tester with a solid background in structured software development life cycle and validation in a regulated industry.
The role will include testing business software (black & white box), using both manual techniques and the latest automated tools. The aim is to ensure that applications are fit for purpose and requirements are met. Therefore required qualities include good communication (both oral and written) skills, strong ability to work with different teams and to make the link between them.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test cases and test scripts to fully test that the solution meets the requirements presented according to existing test plans
Technical competences:
- Knowledge of Java & XML;
- Previous experience in black box or white box testing;
- Acquaintance with Web application principles, SQL, DOS, UNIX commands and shell scripting would be an asset.
A genuine interest in software testing and a willingness to pick up new skills quickly while paying attention to detail is appreciated.
