We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
2nd Line Support Engineer
in our Bucharest-based technical support team.
What will you do?
You will….
... investigate and resolve escalated technical issues from frontline support via the Fasthosts internal ticketing system;
... monitor Fasthosts network infrastructure as part of the departments’ 24/7 coverage and investigate any issues that arise;
... provide a quality level of service to both internal and external customers;
... maintain and improve personal knowledge of the products and services required to deliver the required level of technical competency;
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.
If you have:
... a strong technical background in the administration of either Windows 2003 servers or Linux;
... sound knowledge of basic networking principles;
... moderate ability in at least one scripting language;
... fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Would be a plus:
... IIS or Apache advanced administration;
... experience with: Postfix, My/MS SQL, Exchange, Active Directory.
