Titlu Job: WORDPRESS DEVELOPER
We are looking for senior-level WordPress developer for collaboration on per project basis.
Required:
- Excellent knowledge of WordPress, naturally. It means that you are able to:
- create completely custom themes
- write custom functions and/or plugins
- create custom back and front-end functionality based on custom fields and meta boxes
- improve loading speed by enque-ing scripts an non-critical CSS at the bottom of the page
- etc...
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5/CSS3+.
- Excellent understanding of the whole cross-device, device-agnostic, mobile first, responsive design concept or whatever it is called this week.
- Being up to date on current coding trends and browser capabilities.
- Ability to work at the highest standards without us picking your brain every step of the way.
- Ability to extrapolate and fill in the blanks instead of constantly asking us "and how should I do this?"
- Good working knowledge of JS (jQuery). At least be able to find some stuff on the web and build a custom function from it.
- Ability to test sites for load speed and optimize them: minify, async, use CSS instead of images, use SVG instead of bitmaps, use srcset, and so on.
- Excellent command of English. Most of the specs will be in English.
- You have a business entity and can issue legal invoices ( you have a company of any kind, or you are a PFA).
If you don't know about some of those things, never did, don't feel comfortable with, DO NOT APPLY.
Not required, but if you know/use those, you're GOLD:
- You use Bones theme for development.
- You have experience building multi-lingual sites (what plugin is your fav.?)
- You can write SASS.
You will be working remotely.
