Our client is one of the world's leading automotive suppliers dealing in aftermarket, braking, chassis, commercial steering, electronics, engine components, engineered fasteners and occupant restraints. They are currently recruiting for an engineer to perform a design and development role, for circuits used in complex Automotive products.
Role:
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in technical investigations and design tasks with minimal supervision in Embedded products. The role requires skills in the design of electronics, from Micro-processing cores to interface electronics for a variety of sensors and actuators plus power supplies. In addition the role will be involved in a large portion of the products life cycle, from requirements capture through the design and validation/verification activities to supporting product introduction into high volume manufacturing.
To apply you will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineer. You will have a knowledge of analogue circuit design, will be able to analyse and document circuit performance, will have a good appreciation of mechanical and software design issues, and will have a knowledge of automotive products and associated technologies.
