Titlu Job: Java Developer
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or Master degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
3+ years of experience developing applications in Java
2+ years experience developing web applications with JSP and Servlets, jscript; DOJO and jQuery knowledge is an asset
1+ years experience in web services development
Knowledge of hibernate or another ORM
Unit tests development
Struts framework knowledge and Spring or any Jakarta projects is considered an asset
XML technology knowledge, XSL, XPath, XQuery, DTD, XML Schema.
Analysis and design skills, capability to understand the requirements document
Strong background in applying formal development methodologies, including knowledge of use cases, requirements analysis, UML;
SQL knowledge
Experience in using application servers Java (Tomcat, WebLogic): basic administration tasks, memory tuning, diagnostics, war deployments.
Strong communication skills in English (French is an asset)
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Strong team player
Make-it-work attitude under firm deadlines
Ability to work under pressure
Willing to travel abroad twice a year
Responsibilities:
Writing design documents and functional specifications
Participating in design and code reviews
Developing and unit testing new software
Debugging and fixing bugs during stabilization of the software
Installation and configuration of system components (hardware and software)
Supporting the system post deployment
