The StudyPortals Editorial Team is where higher education information is turned into friendly articles that are easy to find, read and understand by students. We provide the best information about study options abroad, tuition and living costs, university rankings, safety tips, future careers, the latest international education news, and more. We research and present great written content to help students decide what study options are best for their academic future abroad. You will be coordinated by the editorial manager in Bucharest, but also stay in touch with colleagues in Eindhoven, Netherlands on diverse tasks.
What do you say to your friends when they ask you what you do?
I research and write articles that keep students informed about what university study options best fit their academic goals.
Your main responsibilities:
• Write original articles on requested topics (technical and creative) targeting prospective international students;
• Write standardized content for website landing pages;
• Make good use of specific keywords;
• Present ideas in a clear, concise way, targeted to different student audiences and following a comprehensive structure;
• Proofread and publish new content into article database;
• Research and collect online information;
• Improve written content on our websites;
• Contribute to the creative process of the editorial team (brainstorming, feedback, idea sharing);
• Experience with social media is a plus.
Who you are:
• You have a university degree. Studies abroad are a plus.
• You are passionate about writing and have experience in English writing/editorial work (preferably 1-2 years);
• Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken);
• Great PC and MS Office skills;
• Creative as well as critical thinker, with high attention to detail;
• Open to feedback and adapting fast;
• Great team player who is comfortable with diverse opinions;
• You value quality over quantity;
• Constantly willing to learn and develop both professionally and as an individual;
• Know how to stay motivated and go the extra mile to give results you can be proud of;
• Great at managing your time in order to meet deadlines;
• Switching effortlessly between diverse tasks;
• Able to understand the perspectives and needs of other individuals;
