Titlu Job: Software Test Engineer
Summary
The SW Test (QA) Engineer is a key player in the definition, implementation, and execution of manual & automated regression test suites in a highly dynamic and complex software-as-a service product. This position will work closely and collaboratively with Software Engineering to deliver the highest quality products to customers in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Role & Responsibilities
- You will study the system/feature under test and come up with comprehensive test plan
- You will share this plan with the product and development teams to conduct the design reviews of testing materials
- You will design planned tests in efficient way, using all available testing means. Constantly look to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the designed tests
- You will track and report on the test execution in a timely manner
- You will gather and document the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage
- You will report discrepancies and analyze them to determine the root causes. Evaluate script failures at a high level
- You will collaborate with Development and Infra teams/peers on the resolution of issues, overseeing the testing progress and ensuring that high standards of quality are being met
- You will compare and analyze system behavior vs. expected results/KPIs based on business and technical requirements
- You will identify issues, propose system improvements and perform repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues
Skills & Experience
- B.A./B.SC in IT/ Computer Science/ Industrial Engineering/ Systems Analysis
- SW Development/ Testing orientation & knowledge – 2+ years of proven experience
- Experience working with complex systems involving complex integrations
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and the ability to develop new methods/procedures
- Strong and demonstrated desire for a career path in QA engineering
- Good technical hands-on experience in: scripting languages, SQL, Unix/Linux
- Ability to work dynamically on multiple projects
- Good interpersonal skills – a team player
- Highly motivated, responsible and accountable person
- High level of English language
- Willingness to travel abroad
- Able to approach and resolve new challenges
- Self-learner
