Titlu Job: Software Developer

XWiki is looking for a Software Developer to join our Support team on its mission of supporting our customers through their XWiki journey.

As a member of our team, you will:
Acquire a good understanding of the XWiki product and of the client environments
Support our customers and their projects developed on top of the XWiki Platform
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues reported by the XWiki customers
Tackle tasks that involve web technologies, front-end and back-end
Do debugging/bug-fixing, recognize existing bugs and backport product fixes
Develop tools/extensions in order to gather support data or diagnose issues in XWiki
Improve support tools and processes, define and track metrics
Improve the XWiki documentation and the support knowledge base
Improve, update and extend the XWiki customer portal

You might be a good fit if you have:
Excellent understanding and working knowledge of web technologies and standards (HTML, XML, CSS, HTTP, JQuery)
Experience with JavaScript and at least one modern JS framework (AngularJS, EmberJS)
Experience with troubleshooting, bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla etc.) and version control software (SVN or Git)
Familiarity with web server configuration (Apache Web server, Servlet containers)
Experience in debugging in Java, Javascript, Velocity, Groovy or others
Ability to deliver cross-browser implementations
Database knowledge
Good knowledge of Open Source technologies and products
Spoken and written English skills that allow a fluent communication with our international team and customers

The following are a plus:
Good knowledge in server-side scripting languages like Velocity, Groovy or others
Familiarity with responsive layouts and Bootstrap
Advanced French skills
