Our client is one of the leading global investment banks, operating in more than 70 countries worldwide. The bank allows its customers banking with the personal phone and Apple watch and is looking for the best Mobile Developers to design and develop, based on REST APIs, customer-oriented mobile apps in an Agile environment.
Candidate Profile
Analytical thinking
• Proficient in decomposing problem statement into multiple methods/functions. Should be able focus on building reusable code.
• Proficient in writing code in modular way, distinguish between structured programming and OOP
• Able / Proficient in designing systems that span multiple technologies/platforms.
Relevant experience in iOS
• Expert In Data Structures - Based on the requirements, suggests which collection is used. Knows how to proficiently use SDK collection facilities (Enumeration, Filtering, Mapping, Reducing, Sorting)
• Expert knowledge in threading/Grand Central Dispatch(knows how to separate heavy load on background thread; thread synchronization, dispatch groups; DispatchQoS; NSOperationQueues; semaphores; run loops; knows how to implement efficient threading architecture; platform specific limitations)
• Knows what Generics are. Understands how and when they are used. Proficient in using generics in reducing the amount of written and to achieve better modularization. Increase Runtime Safety by using generics.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP Web Services and capable in defining REST interfaces.
• Knowledge about security mechanisms (SSL pinning, Data Integrity, HMAC, man in the middle etc). Knowledge/Proficient in decompiling, knowledge in using different compilers other than apple's LLVM.
• Very good knowledge of caching possibilities. Must be able to suggest different caching strategies suitable to the corresponding context and requirements. Capable to implement different caching designs.
• Very Good knowledge working with persistency layers and corresponding persistency frameworks + tools. Suggest good architectures for data persistency layer based on requirements. User Defaults, plists, writing to files; NSKeychain; Able to use NSCoding protocol to serialize objects. Core Data/SQLite knowledge.
• Knowledge of advanced design patterns. Able to use best design patterns to meet specific requirements. Delegate, Singleton, Facade, Factory, Observer, Decorator, Adapter, Chain of Responsibility and Command. MVVM, Clean Swift, VIPER.
• Excellent knowledge of different application architectures. Ability to decide which architecture works best for a given context. Knowledge how to verify implemented architecture.
• Excellent knowledge in writing scripts like shell scripts. Deep understanding in scripting.
• Expert knowledge of native SDK. Proficient with XCode, Instruments and Apple developing process(Apple Dev Portal).
• Excellent TDD and test design knowledge. Suggest testing frameworks and has experience working with them. Able to write behavior driven tests. Knows how to measure test coverage and quality of tests.
• Capable to define on the corresponding platform a continuous deployment environment. Has at least one year of working experience in a continuous deployment environment.
• Excellent knowledge of SWIFT. Must recommend and take advantage of SWIFT capabilities in order to write both functional and object oriented code.

• Be able to work in a global environment with mixed teams and mixed cultures at different time zones
• Experience with best industry standards – applying coding guidelines
