Titlu Job: Oracle Database Administrator

Team & Role: Oracle Database Administrator

Location:  Bucharest

Level: 1 - 5 years’ experience 

Responsibilities: 

·  Perform database administration, solve database problems, and ensure database security;

·  Maintain stable DBMS & relevant system operations critical for IT production processes;

·  Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications;

·  Research, design, install, develop and test database solutions;

·  Ensure database troubleshooting as well as monitoring and support;

·  Participate in system architecture design and planning;

·  Participate within technical meetings to find the best solution for a business problem;

·  Provide support for development teams to integrate databases in different projects;

·  Provide documentation and capacity management reports and database related information to the management as and when requested. 

Requirements: 

·  +2 years database administration experience;

·  Proven experience with Oracle databases and willing to learn other DBMS (DB2, Sybase);

·  Experience in definition, writing and implementation of backup plans and disaster recovery strategies;

·  Experience in system administration (Windows, Linux, Unix);

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;

·  Experience with SQL tuning and PL/SQL writing;

·  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent experience required;

·  English – advanced.
