Titlu Job: QA Engineer
The Software Development Competence Centre, established in 2010, is the internal software service provider within Medicover. Our goal is to specialize in capturing and translating the business requirements into information systems and develop the software applications across businesses in the Healthcare and Diagnostic industry.
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our young and professional team of Software Development experts based in Bucharest.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Be part of the team responsible for functional testing and regression testing;
o Collaborate with team members to continuously improve testing practices;
o Ensure proper version control and configuration management of test environments used;
o Provide accurate and relevant information regarding the quality of the system following the regression testing phase;
o Utilize various methods of testing (eg. functional, exploratory, stress, integration, regression) in order to efficiently cover the impacted areas;
o Follow the Scrum Methodology throughout the entire development process;
o Provide training and skill development support for new team members;
o Create test documentation in support of automated regression testing;
o Develop and maintain test automation scripts to support functional aspects of the software, by applying the latest techniques in test automation.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
o Relevant experience in similar position;
o Understanding of software architecture and design;
o Coding of automated test scripts using programming languages with recommended coding standards and best practices is a plus;
o Ability to adapt and work with test automation tools is a plus;
o Knowledge of test automation design, strategy, planning and reporting is a plus;
o Experience writing and maintaining software automation tests and scripts in a tool such as QTP/Selenium, as well as other automation systems is a plus;
o Experience with tracking tools;
o Excellent level in English language – both spoken and written;
o Ability to work in a self-organized team;
o Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and complying with strict deadlines;
o Proactive behavior, good organizational and time management skills;
o Great communication skills with both local and external teams.
