Essential skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of front-end development techniques and technologies;
  • Strong experience with HTML5 and CSS/SASS/LESS;
  • Strong experience with Angular 2+, Typescript and JavaScript (ES6+);
  • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems;
  • An understanding of best practices and a commitment to following them;
  • Responsive design and mobile optimization;
  • Versioning systems like GIT;
  • Cross-browser support and supporting older devices;
  • REST APIs;
  • Web sockets (Socket.IO);
  • Strong knowledge of RxJS and asynchronous development techniques;
  • Producing high-quality code that is properly documented within the project.

Desirable skills:

  • Understanding of system architectures based on microservices;
  • Experience with CI/CD;
  • Knowledge of Node.js;
  • Experience with miscellaneous Typescript-specific libraries and dependencies;

Job description

As a Senior Frontend Software Developer at REI Development Services you will be working within product teams to build globally distributed casino management solutions. Collaborating with design, management and multiple development teams. Pairing and/or reviewing developers code as well as providing advice and guidance to less experienced developers.

  • Able to work completely independently, without having to rely on other team members to make progress;
  • High level of engagement when designing architecture and developing new software. Constantly improving our platforms;
  • Actively seeks to work with the wider technology organization, engages in cross functional engineering and displays genuine interest to learn more about the big picture of our platforms;
  • Consults the product team on the best approach for delivering complicated features, both in how they can be split and sequenced, and in terms of potential improvements to the functional and graphical requirements;
  • Providing estimates for goal completion as well as meeting the deadlines that are set according to the product roadmap;
  • Flexible in changing work patterns and demands;
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
