GameGoods is one of the fastest growing companies in the field of online-gaming within Europe. We develop products and services for the leading online games such as World of Warcraft. GameGoods is the leading marketplace for online-gaming products in Europe. We are internationalizing and growing.
For our Romanian office in Bucharest we are looking for a Senior Java Developer with experience in technical project management.
Your responsibilities
You will take over the lead of a complex ERP system which is covering all our business processes and therefore is the heart of our company
You will be responsible for maintaining the software and also develop new features
You will also take over the technical project management, meaning coordinating with other developers and communicating with management, quality control and spec engineers
You will be introduced to the project and trained by our German professionals
Your profile
• Min. 2-3 years professoinal experience with Java/JEE-web projects
• First experience in technical project management as e.g. lead developer, xtreme programming, agile development
• Languages/frameworks: Java 6, JEE, Eclipse, Hibernate, Spring MVC, JSP/Servlets,
• Nice-to-have: Struts-Framework, Junit, Jmeter
• Databases: MySQL, MS SQL, JDBC
• Other: XML, SOAP, HTML, Ajax, CSS, Subversion, Ant, Maven2, Apache Webserver, Tomcat Servlet Container
• You have good communication skills and are a team player
• You have very good analytical skills and can evaluate business process with respect to technical implementation
• You have are very reliable and have a sense of urgency
• You are results-oriented and have an independent work style and proactive attitude
• You have an affinity for technical challenges and elegant realisation
• You have good written and oral English skills (documentation will be in English)
