Project Description:
Development of front end web applications driven by Sitecore content management system. The business model of the clients targets media services. The web sites are high-profile with up to and over one million unique hits per day, therefore requiring extreme focus on performance and scalability. Clients are part of the top brands worldwide in media, sports & entertainment.
Job description
Your main responsibilities will be to develop software systems; you will participate in logical and physical design of the product and understand the business requirements. You will solve complex technical problems that you and your team members may encounter; you will be an integral part of a Scrum team; by case, you will review and enforce the quality of code written within your team, tutor junior developers.
Occasionally you can be involved in geographically distributed projects and you will have to work for short periods of time in other Endava Delivery Centers (i.e. in London-UK).
Skill set (required)
o Proven track record of delivering quality software on schedule over multiple product cycles.
o Experience developing high traffic websites
o Strong communicator and work well across teams
o Team lead and offshore vendor management experience
o Technical / Functional Skills:
o Excellent coding (C#/ASP.NET) and object-oriented design skills
o Proficient with XML and related standards — XSLT, XPath, etc
o Experience with Sitecore and Community Server
o Expertise in building and testing web applications
o Ability to commit to projects
o Motivated and dependable, has initiative, understands responsibility, team player, proactive.
o English language at C1 level (worst case scenario we could go also with a B2 level)
Skill set (Optional)
o Commercial experience of the full software lifecycle;
