Job description:
Based in Bucharest, Romania and reporting to the QA Manager (QAM), the QA Project Manager (QAPM) is responsible for all QA project delivery within the newly created Romania Test Centre operation.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the QA Manager, the QA Project Manager will have full project and staff management responsibilities in order to setup, manage and deliver full black box testing solutions.
Drive consistency and excellence in test management practices for their Franchise/Product
Identify and implement new methods and processes for establishing best practice and effective testing methodologies across the franchise
Review and contribute to the creation process for franchise/product black box test plans
Working with the Project Delivery Manager’s (PDM’s) to define and implement Black Box testing processes and procedures from Pre-Alpha through to Final
Manage multiple QA Project Leads and teams of testers that deliver black box testing solutions
Reporting against the project plan and pre-defined reporting mechanisms
Provide status reports to PDM’s, outlining QA progress against plan and highlight any risks to meeting project deadlines
Participate in effective reviews at the end of each project, providing meaningful and constructive conclusions and recommendations
Formulate strong relationships with the WW QA teams, external partners and customers.
Contribute directly to performance evaluation of individuals and teams, compiling objective feedback that is channeled toward both personal and process improvement
Requirements:
Of degree caliber
Prince 2 or similar Project Management Methodology experience
Proven track in multi disciplined project and/or test management – Minimum 1 Years, Ideal – 3 years
Demonstrated knowledge of software testing and software QA processes (preferably in games but not necessarily)
ISEB/ISTQB foundation qualification or above (preferred but not essential)
Proven ability to manage and lead a test team
Demonstrated knowledge of software development processes
Interest in software testing and video games
