Project Description: Come play at EA and work on a brand new, online PC shooter video game! Work with the innovative video game talent at EA’s European studios and create a unique online experience for gamers everywhere! Learn a lot, play a lot and conquer the video game space. Enlisting volunteers for duty today. Responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time. Responsible for ensuring the project is managed following company development processes. Responsible for ensuring the project Schedule is created and maintained. Responsible for ensuring progress is tracked and reported to all stakeholders. Responsible for maintaining the project budget. Responsible for identifying and facilitating problem solving, to keep the project on track. Responsible for ensuring all external groups (Quality Assurance, Localization, Customer Quality Control, etc.) are working in collaboration with the development team to achieve the project goals. Responsible for continually improving company process and practices. Works closely with other Project Managers to encourage, lead and coach them through the development process. Responsible for carrying out relevant performance reviews. Involved in recruitment of other Project Managers. Help keep the social and practical work environment at the office at a professional and pleasant level. Make efforts to carry and spread the company’s common values and ideas. Directly responsible for adhering to and administering all company policies and procedures. The safeguarding of the company’s assets including source code, art work, tools, technical know-how. NOT directly responsible for (but can have input): The Vision of the Game – Senior Production / Art Director / Audio Director. The Design of the Game – Lead Designer. Requirements: Been working in the video games industry for at least 3 years. Shipped at least 1-2 video game titles where teams have been 25-30 people. Active video games player with a strong interest in first-person shooter games. Knowledge of EA shooter video games (especially online gameplay and modding) a definite plus. Proactive in working within a large organization and managing team members. Manager who creates a professional, positive team culture in the workspace. Good communicator with excellent people management skills. Fluent written and spoken English.
