Titlu Job: Support Agent & Technical Writer
About the position
Integrated with the Support team, you will be working on several aspects of the support services in the objective of filling in the following missions:
* Provide clients support and technical solutions (via mail, instant messaging, phone or conferencing)
* Report development status to our clients
* Report issues to the development teams
* Report or dispatch tasks on complex issues
* Continuously have a general understanding of the XWiki product and the client environments
* Write technical documentation regarding common issues and procedures, both in French and in English
Technical requirements
* You have basic programming skills and basic database knowledge
* You're familiar with web technologies (HTML, XML, Javascript, CSS, HTTP)
* You're aware of web server configuration (Apache Web server, Servlet containers)
* You know or can learn how to use JIRA (or a similar bug-tracking tool)
* You're aware of the software development cycle (requirements, specs, design, testing, deployment, maintenance, etc.)
* You're fluent in French and can write short and detailed descriptions of how our features work
Other expected skills
* Your verbal and written English skills allow a fluent communication with the international team
* You're self motivated and eager to learn fast about pretty much anything we throw at you
* You know how to deliver on time - but you're not afraid to tell your manager when you're running late
Benefits
* This position can be either part time (30 hours per week), either full time (40 hours per week)
