Job Description:
- Act as Applications consultant in the area of Business Support solutions - design, build, test and implement technical solutions
- Lead and participate in application customizations and technical implementations using structured techniques
- Generate high-quality project documentation, such as project plans, design documents, test plans, etc.
- Provide architectural design reviews and recommendation services
- Provide technical infrastructure planning and implementation services
- Provide technical solution scoping and proposal development (pre-sales)
- Communicate status of assignments accurately to project and delivery management
- Develop strong working relationships with client and company’s team members
Qualifications:
(one or more of the following areas, or capability to
- Knowledge of Java, VB, SQL and XML technologies
- Development methodologies, GUI development & web architectures
- SQL Server/Oracle internals, Unix and NT operating systems preferred
- Enterprise Content Management product suites knowledge, APIs and development environments
- Document Management / Workflow products; App Servers (BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere); Internet Tools (HTML, JavaScript, XML, Servlet, JSP, Java Web Server 2.0, iPlanet Web Server, Apache Web Server, IBM XML4J, Tomcat Jakarta, WebLogic
- Databases (Database connectivity: MS-Access, MS-SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, JDBC, ODBC)
- Operating Systems: UNIX (Solaris/HP/AIX), and Windows 95/NT/2000
Personal skills:
- Independent and reliable person
- Innovative thinking, problem solving oriented, good inter-personal skills
- English language is a must
- Ready to invest time and effort in achieving very fast a high professional level
- Fast learner
