For our client, an international company from the telecom/networking field, we are looking for 2 Solution Architects, that will help the company grow the office in Romania, Bucharest.
Descrierea postului:
1. Provide solutions to design recommendations agreed with the customer by the Technical Consultants. Support the Technical Consultants/Account Managers/Account Executives with technical solutions on named accounts, this includes but it is not limited to:
• Attending discussions on technical solutions where the technical consultant/technical design authority/account manager has requested your presence and input.
• Liaise with technical consultants and technical design authorities to gather/reconfirm all technical requirements to ensure a competent and deliverable solution is designed.
• Liaise internally to ensure that any solution has been validated by respective internal processes.
• Present the solutions to the technical design authorities / network management centre / Implementation Engineers both orally via presentations and provide written documentation to the Implementation engineers and/or Moves and Changes teams for implementation/rollout of the solution.
2. Provide configuration templates and support the implementation engineers and/or moves and changes team for successful completion of changes/network improvements and design: this includes but is not limited to:
• Ensure all configurations, documentation and handovers are completed in line with internal business processes and standards.
• Ensure the completion the relevant Type TC documents and adhere to internal Remedy/Oracle work flow process.
• Attend internal meetings as requested by the project manager/provisioning coordinators, TC’s and technical design authorities.
• Respond in accordance with the timescales laid out in the “Type TC process” to any Type TC changes that occur during a project rollout to which the SA is assigned.
• Perform in-lab proof of concept lab testing to ensure that the solutions provided to the customers are reliable and operational. Ensure relevant documents are completed to detail the testing process followed and relevant test results.
• Take active participation in mentoring other teams including implementation engineers, moves and changes and other technical operations staff to promote knowledge sharing and expand areas of expertise to other operations staff.
• Adhere to the internal team processes to complete assigned Type TC changes within the service level agreements with the provisioning coordinators and the task targets assigned by the SA manager.
• Review and approve/reject project definition documents (PDD) reports before being implemented.
Cerinte:
1. Able to work to tight deadlines and produce solid work that is both correct and to a high standard. Timescales for Type TC work is based on deadlines.
2. Confident in face-to-face internal and external meetings. The SA must be able to discuss their subject matter in a way that provides confidence to the customer and demonstrate strong communication skills.
3. Able to demonstrate when required a sound level of understanding across a broad range of technical subjects and be able to apply this knowledge to customer’s specific requirements.
4. Highly self motivated and work well under pressure.
5. Able to travel within and outside of the country when required.
6. Has sound technical knowledge and understanding of Wide Area Networking (WAN) particularly in Frame Relay, ATM, MPLS and both public and private IP VPN, all related networking technologies. Willingness to learn/train themselves using Vanco facilities to provide competent solutions and configurations.
7. Able to learn new technologies (MPLS, BGP etc...) quickly and also those legacy technologies (SNA, DLSW etc…).
8. Knowledge of Ethernet and Token Ring LAN environments
9. Able to bring all of the above together and incorporate it into a seamless solution that can then be implemented on the customer’s network.
10. Able to work well in a team environment but also on an individual basis to ensure tasks/actions are completed.
French language (at least intermediary) is a huge plus!
